Sidney Chong was recognized for her academic excellence, leadership, and community service. She achieved a 4.17 weighted GPA, ranked in the top 20% of her class at South High, and actively participated in various school organizations, including the Varsity girls golf team, ASB, National Honor Society, and as the founder of Sew La Mode. Sidney also made a significant impact by transforming her school’s social media presence and creating a mentorship program to support freshmen. Her teachers praised her selflessness, empathy, and ability to foster a positive school culture.

Cassandra Elizalde was honored for her academic achievements, leadership roles, and dedication to service. She maintained a 4.44 weighted GPA, ranked in the top 10% of her class, and held positions such as Class President and Vice President in ASB, Commissioner of Clubs and Activities, and ambassador for the Connect Club. Cassandra also excelled in Speech and Debate and volunteered as a mentor and summer clerk, earning high praise for her work ethic and judgment. She aspires to study political science and law to become a corporate and criminal justice lawyer and a leader in public service.
